The main content of this drill is how to use fire extinguishers correctly and improve employees' emergency response capabilities when facing fires.
The drill was held in an open area within the company. Before the drill, the safety officer first gave everyone a theoretical explanation of the knowledge, focusing on the types of fire extinguishers, how to use them, and the inspection and maintenance points of fire extinguishers.
After the explanation, the company's employees, under the guidance of the safety officer, personally operated the fire extinguisher for actual combat drills. The correct steps for using a fire extinguisher include: pulling out the safety pin, aiming at the root of the fire source, spraying the fire extinguishing agent evenly, and maintaining a certain safe distance.
Employees said in practice that the combination of theory and practice can help them better understand and master the skills of using fire extinguishers.
During the drill, everyone also learned how to judge the type of fire and choose the right fire extinguisher to put it out. Through practical operation, employees not only have a deeper understanding of the use of fire extinguishers, but also have enhanced their confidence in dealing with sudden fires. Especially for different types of fires (such as electrical fires, oil fires, etc.).
The successful holding of this fire drill not only improved the fire safety awareness of employees, but also strengthened their self-protection ability.
